Galaxy Research Director: The US government may buy BTC as a strategic reserve this year

Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy, said in an X post: "I now believe that the US government may purchase bitcoin as a strategic reserve this year, and the easiest (and most likely) path would be to use counterfeit products from its existing digital asset reserve."
