The U.S. Court of Appeals for Massachusetts has confirmed in an unpublished ruling that a lawsuit brought by plaintiff Lourenco Garcia against Santander has been dismissed. It is reported that the plaintiff tried to hold Santander responsible for its losses of more than $750,000 in a cryptocurrency scam linked to a fraudulent crypto platform called Coinegg. The Massachusetts Court of Appeals held that while Santander can reject or block any or all transactions, it is not obligated to do so, while the plaintiff himself authorized each transaction and found no breach of any contractual terms or legal obligations by the bank.
