Cosmos developers have successfully fixed a critical security bugs in their Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol that had compromised assets worth at least $126 million. The vulnerability has existed since the protocol was launched in 2021 and recently became an exploitable vulnerability due to the introduction of new codebase development. However, no funds were lost in the process of fixing the vulnerability, ensuring that no malicious exploitation occurred.
