Uniswap founder Hayden Adams recently posted on the X social platform, expressing concern about the confusion of Ethereum's current scaling strategy. Adams stressed that Ethereum has invested more than 5 years to develop a horizontal scaling route based on L2 and should not be shaken in the "final sprint stage".
He criticized the conflicting voices within the community, which on the one hand claimed to follow the "Rollup Center Roadmap", but on the other hand insisted that "important features must stay in L1". Adams said: "I support the scaling improvements in L1, and the Rollup Center Roadmap actually needs these improvements," but oppose frequent changes in strategic direction.
Adams called on communities to "choose a path and work to reduce the associated risks" rather than "changing narratives and strategies every month." He also made it clear that he opposed the practice of "trying everything," arguing that it was worse than choosing nothing.
