OpenAI Releases O3 and O4-Mini, Reportedly Able to Understand Images

OpenAI has released its latest artificial intelligence model, which it is understood can understand uploaded images, such as whiteboards, sketches and diagrams, even if the uploaded content is of low quality. The company calls the o3 its most advanced model to date, while releasing a smaller model, the o4-mini. OpenAI is also striving to stay ahead of the curve in generative artificial intelligence as rivals such as Google, Anthropic and Elon Musk's xAI step up their development.
