Futureverse announced the acquisition of digital collectibles platform Candy Digital on April 16, 2025 for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition gives Futureverse access to Candy Digital's 4 million digital collectibles and 1.50 million user accounts, as well as partnerships with blue chip brands such as Netflix, DC Comics and MLB.
It is reported that Futureverse was founded at the end of 2022 and completed a $54 million Series A financing in 2023, with a valuation of about $1 billion.
