On April 16th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Equipment Industry Division I organized a promotion meeting on the management of intelligent networked automobile product access and software online upgrade. Nearly 60 representatives from the Ministry's Equipment Industry Development Center and major automobile manufacturers attended the meeting. The meeting focused on the requirements for product access and software online upgrade filing of the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of Intelligent Networked Automobile Product Access, Recall and Software Online Upgrade" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Supervision, and listened to the implementation situation and suggestions of automobile manufacturers. The Ministry's Equipment Industry Development Center introduced the key concerns of intelligent networked automobile product access and software online upgrade management. The meeting emphasized that automobile manufacturers should deeply understand the requirements of the "Notice", fully carry out combined driving assistance testing and verification, clarify system functional boundaries and safety response measures, refrain from exaggeration and false propaganda, strictly fulfill the obligation of notification, and effectively assume the responsibility of production consistency and quality and safety, so as to effectively improve the safety level of intelligent connected vehicle products.
