The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively closed higher, with the Nasdaq up 0.64%, the Dow up 0.78%, and the S & P 500 up 0.79%. Most large technology stocks rose, Apple rose more than 2%, Netflix and Google rose more than 1%. In terms of decline, the Meta fell more than 2% and Amazon fell more than 1%.
