Vitalik Buterin replied to a post by Stani Kulechov, founder and CEO of Aave: "Congratulations on keeping your hacking losses so low! According to Rapid Bot Check, Aave's loss level is 50x lower than the DeFi industry average and 250x lower than centralized exchanges (actual annualized return of -0.01%, expected annualized return of -0.53%, expected annualized return of -2.75%). Given the recent instability in macro-political and financial marekts, I think you (and DeFi as a whole) are quite competitive in terms of tail risk in the fiat space."
