Thinking Machines Lab, an artificial intelligence startup founded by Mira Murati, the former chief technology officer of OpenAI, is raising $2 billion in seed funding at a valuation of more than $10 billion, with the goal of building artificial intelligence systems that can better work with humans rather than just serve them. Before leaving OpenAI, Mira Murati spent six years helping build projects such as ChatGPT, briefly serving as interim CEO after Sam Altman stepped down, before returning to the position of CTO after his return.
