Hong Kong stocks afternoon review: Hang Seng index opened low and went high, chip stocks rose sharply

On April 11, Hong Kong stocks opened lower and higher in early trading. The Hang Seng Index closed up 0.56% at 20,798.63 points; the Composite Index closed up 1.68% at 4894.48 points. On the market, chip stocks rose sharply, gold and precious metals sectors rose, automobile stocks recovered, agricultural stocks continued to correct, and tax-free concept stocks stalled. In terms of individual stocks, Changjiang Life Science and Technology (00775.HK) rose nearly 23%, Huahong Semiconductor (01347.HK) rose 19%, Chifeng Gold (06693.HK) rose 13.9%, SMIC International (00981.HK) rose 9%, Shandong Gold (01787.HK) rose 7.7%, ZTE (00763.HK) rose 4.7%, Zijin Mining (02899.HK) rose 4%, Zhaoyan New Drug (06127.HK) fell nearly 17%, China 01880.HK) fell 4.4%, Ctrip Group -S (09961.HK) fell 4.9%.
