U.S. Department of Agriculture: Palm oil production is expected to decrease by 1.30 million tons to 78.20 million tons

Gold Ten Futures, April 11, despite the increase in soybean crushing, global vegetable oil production is expected to be lowered by 900,000 tons to 228.10 million tons in 2024/25, as the increase in soybean oil production is offset by the decline in palm oil production. Palm oil production is expected to decrease by 1.30 million tons to 78.20 million tons due to lower production in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
