Guns N 'Roses guitarist Slash has abandoned the X platform due to repeated theft of his X account to promote Meme coins

Slash, the guitarist for US hard rock band Guns N 'Roses, announced on Tuesday that he was permanently deprecating the X platform after his account was "hacked multiple times" and used to promote a Meme coin. Just a week ago, hackers broke into Slash's authenticated account and used it to promote GUNS, a Meme coin based on the Solana blockchain, falsely claiming that it was the official cryptocurrency project of Guns N' Roses. Slash explained to fans in a tweet: "I made this decision after careful consideration after multiple hacks of my account, which also reflects how I want to adjust my social connections in the future."
