April 10, April 9-10, 2025 National Export Control Work Conference was held in Beijing. The meeting pointed out that the current international situation is complex and severe, and the Ministry of Commerce has thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. It will work with all relevant departments and localities to accelerate the improvement of the modernized national export control system, continuously improve the efficiency of export control, coordinate development and security, and ensure high-quality development with high-level security. The meeting called for further improvement of the modernized national export control system in terms of improving laws and regulations, strengthening the control of items, strengthening licensing law enforcement, strengthening multilateral and bilateral export control dialogues and exchanges, and promoting compliance construction, so as to better safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, and make positive contributions to building a modern socialist country and comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
