OpenSea is pressing the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) to clarify that NFT markets are not exchanges or brokers under federal securities laws. OpenSea General Counsel Adele Faure and Deputy General Counsel Laura Brookover made the argument in a letter to Commissioner Hester M. Peirce on Wednesday.
