A federal court in the U.S. state of Nevada has granted a preliminary injunction filed by cryptocurrency-based prediction market Kalshi, temporarily preventing the state government from halting its cryptocurrency-based prediction market operations. Kalshi co-founder Tarek Mansour thanked the court via the X platform for recognizing the platform's status as an exchange regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
