On April 9, Taiwan's weighted index closed down 1,068.19 points, or 5.79%, at 17,391.76 on Wednesday, April 9. The largest weighted stock, TSMC, fell nearly 4%, Hon Hai locked the limit again, falling 10% to NT $112.5, and MediaTek fell 5.9%.
