The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a new motion against an urgent request filed by non-party Justin W. Keener in the Ripple case to file "conclusive evidence" in favor of the defendant. The SEC believes that because the case has been moved to the Second Circuit and the district court has lost jurisdiction, Keener's request cannot be accepted. In addition, the SEC notes that Keener failed to comply with the proper legal provisions because he did not file a formal motion to intervene.
