Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission: Make Good Use of the Market Value Management "Toolbox" to Strengthen the Market Value Management of State-owned Listed Companies

On April 8th, the Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission issued several opinions on strengthening the market value management of state-controlled listed companies in our city. The "Opinions" support regulated enterprises and listed companies to make good use of various market value management policies and tools from six aspects: mergers and acquisitions, stock repurchase and increase, investor returns, incentive and restraint mechanisms, information disclosure, and investor relations management. Promote regulated enterprises to integrate market value management into the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises, improve the normal market value maintenance mechanism, promote stock repurchase and increase as a basic institutional arrangement, establish a rapid response mechanism for abnormal stock price fluctuations, and strictly regulate the behavior of share reduction.
