OpenAI tests adding watermarking capabilities to ChatGPT-4o image models

On April 7th, according to BleepingComputer, OpenAI is testing the ability to add watermarks to the ChatGPT-4o image generation model (ImageGen), or add logos for free user-generated images. The model is currently open to all users and supports high-quality image generation, including Ghibli-like works. The news says that ChatGPT Plus subscribers will generate images without watermarks. In addition, OpenAI is developing the ImageGen API, which will be open to developers in the future.
