ClearBank and Kraken enter into a regional partnership

On April 6th, ClearBank entered into a regional partnership with cryptocurrency trading platform Kraken, which will provide Kraken UK customers with sterling clearing services to realize the deposit and withdrawal channels of the digital trading ecosystem. The two parties plan to launch regional clearing services in early 2025. Previously, Kraken's legal entity Payward Services has been granted a UK Electronic Money Institute (EMI) license, and ClearBank will become its main UK banking partner.
