EigenLayer plans to launch Slashing mechanism on April 17

EigenLayer said in a post on the X platform that it plans to officially launch the main network Slashing mechanism on April 17. Slashing allows AVS to set conditions that operators must abide by. If operators fail to meet the requirements, AVS can punish them, and otherwise give rewards. Slashing will be implemented in stages, and operators and pledgers need to choose whether to accept the Slashing standard.
