Barclays: Cutting the number of Fed rate cuts in 2026 from three to two

Barclays: The expected number of rate cuts by the Federal Reserve in 2026 has been reduced from three to two, each of 25 basis points. Economist Marc Giannoni and others still expect the FOMC to cut rates by 25 basis points in June and September this year, but the path of such rates is very uncertain.
