Celo核心开发商cLabs提议采用OP Stack开发其以太坊Layer 2链。cLabs在评估了各种扩容技术八个月后，选择了OP Stack进行开发。Celo社区去年7月通过治理投票批准了向以太坊Layer 2迁移的提案。计划在2024年夏天部署测试网，并进行社区投票。
