零售巨头 7-Eleven（7-11）宣布启动韩国央行数字货币测试，目前包括韩国国民银行、新韩银行和友利银行在内的七家合作银行之一开户的客户可以在结账时通过扫描数字钱包中的二维码来支付商品费用。为了鼓励参与，试用期间，7-Eleven 为使用数字货币购买的所有产品提供 10%的折扣。
