On March 30, at a town hall meeting hosted by his American political action committee in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Musk distinguished the Department of Federal Government Effectiveness (DOGE) from the Dogecoin cryptocurrency.
"As far as I know, the government has no plans to use Dogecoin or other currencies," he said. "They have similar names, but really, we just want to make the government 15 percent more efficient."
