Galxe Community Initiates Voting on Token Symbol Replacement and Token Contract Migration Proposal

The Galxe community initiated a vote on the proposal to replace the token symbol and migrate the token contract. The vote will close on April 27. The current approval rate is 99.59%. The proposal states that the plan includes a series of technical improvements, coordination efforts with strategic members of the ecosystem, and planning to ensure a smooth transition process. The main aspects include code base modifications, identification adjustments, and communication strategies for different stakeholder groups. To strengthen brand perception and increase community engagement, the original token symbol GAL needs to be changed to G, and GAL's existing token smart contracts need to be upgraded.
