Game retailer GameStop has updated its investment policy to include bitcoin in its treasury reserve asset.
"The Company's investment policy allows investment in certain cryptocurrency assets, including bitcoin and U.S. dollar stablecoins, the Company will be exposed to specific risks associated with bitcoin or stablecoins if the Company acquires bitcoin or U.S. dollar stablecoins; and the Company's ability to maintain effective internal financial reporting controls," the filing said.
