U.S. stocks opened higher and moved higher, with the three major indexes closing higher collectively. The Nasdaq rose 2.27%, the S & P 500 rose 1.76%, and the Dow rose 1.42%. Tesla rose nearly 12%, its biggest one-day gain since November 7 last year. Nvidia, Amazon, Meta rose more than 3%, Google rose more than 2%, Apple, Netflix rose more than 1%, Microsoft rose slightly; Intel fell slightly. AMD closed up nearly 7%, its best one-day performance since February 2024.
