China and Japan hold the sixth high-level economic dialogue

On March 22, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister of Japan, co-chaired the 6th China-Japan High-Level Economic Dialogue with Japanese Foreign Minister Iwaya in Tokyo, attended by heads of 15 government departments from both sides. Wang Yi said that today, after a lapse of six years, the China-Japan High-Level Economic Dialogue was held to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen communication on economic development strategies and macroeconomic policies, strengthen the foundation of traditional cooperation, expand the path for cooperation in new fields and models, jointly draw a new blueprint for China-Japan economic and trade cooperation, and provide solid economic support for the comprehensive promotion of China-Japan strategic and mutually beneficial relations.
