"New Debt King" Gundlach: The probability of the US economy falling into recession is higher than 50%

In an interview, Mr. Gundlach, the "new debt king," said he thought the chances of a recession were between 50 and 60 per cent, much higher than most people expected. Mr. Gundlach said the tariffs were likely to lead to inflation, which he said was difficult to see stabilising at the Fed's 2 per cent target.
