Hyperliquid has announced the introduction of pledge tiers, which will be determined based on the amount of HYPE pledged. The benefit of pledge tiers is reduced transaction fees. This update is expected to go live on or after April 30th. As part of this update, the entire fee system will be redesigned, and the new fee system Perpetual Contracts and Spot will have separate fee schedules. Perpetual Contracts and Spot Volume will be calculated together to determine the user fee tier, and Spot Transaction Volume will be doubled towards the fee tier.
