According to Coinglass data, bitcoin volatility has been at a high level recently, reaching a new high since September 2024 at 3.48% in the past three days, reflecting in part the lack of market liquidity. Volatility is expected to jump when the Federal Reserve announces its interest rate decision tonight (2:00 am Beijing time on March 20).
