Securitize and Ethena Launch EVM-Compatible Blockchain Converge

Securitize and Ethena, which work closely with BlackRock money market fund BUIDL, have announced the launch of the EVM-compatible institutional-grade DeFi blockchain Converge, designed to house tokenized assets and provide institutional investors with innovations in decentralized finance (DeFi). According to Ethena founder Guy Young, new products provided by Securitize will be deployed on the blockchain, opening up new use cases. In addition, because of EVM compatibility, it can run Ethereum-based smart contracts, dApps, and tools without modification.
