China Office and State Office: Increase support for trade-in of consumer goods

On March 16, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Action Plan for special projects to boost consumption", which mentioned that the support for trade-in of consumer goods should be increased. Make good use of super long-term special national debt funds to support local efforts to expand the implementation of trade-in of consumer goods, promote the green and intelligent upgrading of large-scale durable consumer goods such as automobiles, home appliances, and home improvement, support the exchange of qualified and safe electric bicycles, and implement subsidies for the purchase of new digital products such as mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches (bracelets). Promote the pilot construction of second-hand commodity circulation, cultivate diversified second-hand commodity circulation entities, and innovate second-hand commodity circulation methods.
