Crypto.com today received a limited license from the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), allowing it to offer derivatives trading services in the UAE.
This license will enable Crypto.com to launch derivatives products such as futures contracts, perpetual swaps and contracts for difference (CFDs) in regional markets. The company plans to open these products to qualified institutions globally first, and later to accredited investors. The license also provides Crypto.com retail users with access to U.S. dollar fiat currency, allowing users to deposit and withdraw U.S. dollars through Standard Chartered.
