Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, predicted on social media that BlackRock will apply for Solana and XRP ETFs. Solana ETF applications may be filed at any time, while XRP ETFs may be launched after the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) litigation is concluded.
Geraci further explained his predictions: "BlackRock is currently leading in terms of ETF asset size for both Bitcoin and Ethereum. I don't think they will allow competitors to launch ETFs on two of the top five non-stablecoin crypto assets without any fight. BlackRock will also apply for a crypto index ETF."
