The three major US stock indexes collectively closed down, the Dow fell 1.14%, the Nasdaq fell 0.18%, the S & P 500 fell 0.76%, and large technology stocks rose and fell differently. Tesla and Broadcom rose more than 3%, Nvidia, Amazon, and Meta rose more than 1%, and Apple fell nearly 3%.
