The Securities Supervision Commission of Hong Kong has released its "A-S-P-I-Re" roadmap for the virtual asset market in Hong Kong. To stay ahead in this changing environment, the Securities Supervision Commission's regulatory roadmap is based on five pillars, namely "A-S-P-I-Re" (Access, Safeguards, Products, Infrastructure and Relationships), to lead the Hong Kong virtual asset ecosystem into the future, the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission said.
The 12 specific measures of the roadmap include promoting market participation, implementing adaptive compliance and product frameworks, and infrastructure upgrades that combine the reliability of traditional finance with the efficacy of blockchain technology. This series of measures reflects our pragmatic approach to strengthening Hong Kong's role as a reliable virtual asset liquidity hub. (Jin Ten)
