Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has urged Elon Musk to ban the use of bots - automated accounts that send email spams to social media sites and are used to amplify content or carry out coordinated attacks.
"If someone uses Grok, ChatGPT or DeepSeek to generate a tweet and copy-paste it here, yes, but API publishing should be disabled," CZ wrote in an X post on March 9.
Automated bots, a well-documented problem on X, send email spam to websites and are particularly active within the crypto sphere of influence - plaguing users with scams promoting fake tokens, phishing links from malicious websites and gouging and selling schemes.
