On March 8, Omer (@demirelo), a former director of the Avalanche Foundation, released a statement on the X social platform, confirming that three directors, including Aytunça Yildizli and Vikram Nagrani, had officially resigned from the board of directors of the foundation and its subsidiaries earlier this week.
The executive director, Aytunça Yildizli, ceased his duties on February 28, 2025, and the board has been sitting on the sidelines since then, trying to find a way forward.
Mr. Omer said: "I, along with Aytuní Yildizli and Vikram Nagrani, have driven a number of important efforts over the past 18 months, including the establishment of the Avalanche Foundation brand perception, the release of the first annual report, the launch of incentive programs such as infraBUIDL () and infraBUIDL (AI), and the development of the AiFRED project. We are also committed to strengthening the internal coordination of the ecosystem and shifting the focus of growth strategies to new market development and strategic cooperation. This collective voluntary resignation decision is" thoughtful "and will continue to focus on the development of the Avalanche ecosystem in the future. I wish the Avalanche ecosystem and community all the best."
