Offchain Labs CEO: US Cryptocurrency Reserve Should Only Be Bitcoin

Steven Goldfeder, CEO of Offchain Labs, said that the U.S. cryptocurrency reserve should only focus on Bitcoin, at least for now. Goldfeder believes that Bitcoin has come to the fore in a generally accepted way, and focusing on Bitcoin is the cleanest and easiest move. He said there are dangers in allowing other assets into the market because regulators don't know the complexities of all cryptocurrencies or who is pushing for each to be included in the market. Also, if the U.S. builds a reserve focused on U.S. cryptocurrencies, Steven Goldfeder believes that Arbitrum's native token, ARB, should be at the top of the list.
