US authorities have offered a $10 million reward for the arrest of former Canadian Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding, who is accused of running a multinational cocaine empire, Decrypt reported. The FBI announced on Thursday that it had placed the Canadian on its 10 most wanted list to bring him to justice as soon as possible.
In October 2024, the Department of Justice filed criminal charges against Wedding and 15 other defendants, accusing them of leading the syndicate and committing multiple atrocities in the course of drug trafficking. U.S. authorities allege that Wedding allegedly used its criminal organization to smuggle hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and fentanyl into North America and orchestrated multiple murders to protect its business. Wedding allegedly used USDT to launder money and bypass the traditional banking system.
