Finance Minister: Two new loan discount policies will be implemented to stimulate consumption

On March 6, Minister of Finance Lan Foan said at the economic theme press conference of the third session of the 14th National People's Congress on March 6 that the linkage between fiscal and financial policies will be strengthened, and two new loan discount policies will be implemented to stimulate consumption momentum. One is to give financial discount to personal consumption loans in key areas to reduce the pressure on current expenditure. The other is to provide financial discount to business entities in areas closely related to ordinary people's lives, such as catering and accommodation, health care, elderly care, childcare, and housekeeping, to reduce financing costs and increase the supply of more high-quality services.
