According to Bitcoin Magazine, on March 4, 2025, the Williamson County Republican Party held its convention at the Franklin Marriott Hotel in the heart of Williamson County, Tennessee. At the event, "real" Republicans (i.e., people who have voted at least three times in the last four Republican primaries) voted for the future of the party's local leadership. Both sides of the race - Elevate and the Williamson County Republican Party - each proposed a list of eight candidates. The final vote results were submitted (added to) Bitcoin block 886,370 via Simple Proof's Immutable Proof service, an automated service that uses the OpenTimestamps protocol to help protect the integrity of public records.
