Binance has banned Nigerian IP address customers engagement in its airdrops. Nigerian cryptocurrency users said they were unable to access the Binance Web3 mission platform, which previously allowed users to earn free cryptocurrency by completing simple social tasks, due to the government's ongoing dispute with Binance.
Binance has more than 380,000 active users in Nigeria. This is the latest restriction following last year's ban on Nigerian users from accessing peer-to-peer trading platforms and the removal of the digital version of the Nigerian naira. The restrictions stem from a legal dispute between Binance and the Nigerian government, which accused Binance of devaluing the naira.
