FTSE China A50 index to include Cambrian, China Unicom, Guotai Junan

On March 6th, on March 5th, FTSE Russell announced quarterly review changes to the FTSE China 50 Index, FTSE China A50 Index, FTSE China A150 Index, FTSE China A200 Index, and FTSE China A400 Index. The change will take effect after the close of business on Friday, March 21, 2025. Specifically, the FTSE China A50 Index, which has the highest market attention, will be included in Cambrian-U, China Unicom and Guotai Junan this time; China General Nuclear Power, Yili Shares, and Luzhou Laojiao will be excluded. BeiGene-U, SAIC Group, Cyrus, Huichuan Technology, and ZTE have entered the list of candidates for the FTSE China A50 Index. The candidate list is effective immediately until the constituent stocks are reviewed in the next quarter. If one or more constituent stocks are deleted, the candidate stocks will be selected.
