Data: Indonesia's January cryptocurrency transactions rose 104% year-on-year to $268 million

On March 5, Hasan Fawzi, an official of the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK), revealed at the February 2025 Monthly Council of Commissioners meeting held on March 4 that the volume of cryptocurrency transactions in Indonesia reached 44.07 trillion rupiah (about $2.68 billion) in January 2025, an increase of 104.31% from the 21.57 trillion rupiah (about $1.31 billion) in January 2024.
