Chairperson of the Russian State Duma financial marekt committee: Digital financial assets may replace fiat currencies for Global Payments

Anatoly Aksakov, chairperson of the financial marekt committee of the Russian State Duma, said that digital financial assets issued by institutions regulated by the central bank can replace legal channels for international settlements. Aksakov also admitted that while digital assets are not controlled in such use cases, it has been used for Global Payment settlement.
