The US state department said in a statement that US Secretary of State Rubio spoke with British Foreign Secretary Lamy to discuss the March 2 summit of leaders on Ukraine convened by the UK. Rubio thanked the UK for its role in encouraging Europe to provide its own defense and promote peace in Ukraine.
